I skipped using the driver installation CD completely since I bought the GS-27USB-50 on eBay for $18.99 and the CD was in Chinese. To install the driver I simply plugged the GS-27USB into a USB port and let Windows 7 find the driver online. It searched for about 2 minutes, then installed Realtek RTL8187 driver automatically. The GS-27USB-50 works great and moved my reception from a wifi router 150 feet away over a building from 1 bar to 4, with the speeds test results below.
